We have to mention that we did enjoy what we learned from this course since the very beginning of it. First, the concept of educational technology was presented by our professor. Then, we learnt about the digital competences any student is expected to possess. Besides, we got to know about a new concept that in a near future will change the way educators teach: invisible learning. We appreciated the explanation of our classmates over Moravec’s and Cobo’s perspectives for the future of education. Those writers gave us a round-up of how global educational system has evolved, as well as their classification of society considering technology as the foremost aspect. Furthermore, when we solved the survey on Five Perspectives on Teaching, we could notice that everyone has a dominant teaching perspective. Such perspectives on teaching made us reflect on how the teacher’s role changes depending upon the educational method he employs. Moreover, we learnt that there is not an accurate or right teaching perspective due to the fact that every educator has his own teaching style. What is important to be aware of is that, believe it or not, the form a professor teaches is theory-driven. Finally, we were taught how knowledge is creating from diverse educational theories, e.g. how knowledge is created from the constructivist or behavioral approach. On the one hand, we liked the most the activities done in groups such as the creation of a glogster and the creation of a blog. We are fond of learning how to use educational technology since we believe we can take advantage of this marvelous tool. On the other hand some difficulties we had to progress were that we only knew how to manage the basic features of the classical programs; we can even say we were clueless about how to use advanced characteristics of technology. However, considering all the work we have carried out, we will surely enhance our technological abilities since we really long to become English teachers who encourage students to make, at least, a small but notable change within the future society.
